Personal AI assistant
Most assistants start typing.
Evi plans first.
Before it writes a word, Evi works out what kind of question you asked and decides the shape of the answer — code or prose, brief or thorough, teaching or technical. Then it writes it. Then it scores its own answer against the sources it actually used.
What it does
It plans the answer before writing it
Your question is classified first, then a separate pass decides the shape of the reply — code or prose, brief or detailed, teaching or technical, and which points to cover. Only then does it start writing. A debugging question leads with the code; a maths question gets worked through step by step; 'hi' gets one line.
It marks its own work
After every reply, Evi scores what it just said out of 1 — against the plan it made, and against the actual search results it was given rather than its own training. Low scores are recorded. It runs in the background and never makes you wait.
It knows when it doesn't know
Questions needing current information trigger a live web search instead of an answer reconstructed from a training snapshot. Answers about your documents come from the passages in your file, so you can check them against the source.
It costs nothing to find out
Evi is free to use. Built in India, for people the $20-a-month assistants price out — and it installs to your home screen like an app, no store and no download.
